About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.
Students
Students are our first focus. Our mission is to provide a safe and orderly environment that will enable all students to reach their fullest academic and personal potential.

Parent support is the cornerstone for a successful relationship between RHS and home.

RUSD Rules

In addition to those behaviors prohibited by state laws, the following behaviors are deemed as inappropriate in the schools in the Rowland USD:

Gambling, cheating, fraudulent activities, falsification of any type

Riding bicycles, skateboards, or any unauthorized vehicles on campus

Parking without permit in regulated areas

Visiting on campus without an office pass

Eating outside of designated lunch areas

Bringing unsafe or inappropriate devices to school such as glass containers, cellular phones, pagers, transistor devices (iPod’s, MP3, walkman, CD players) radios and tape players, etc.

Displaying physical affection in ways other than holding hands

Leaving the instructional area of campus or loitering on or near the campus, in the restrooms, in the parking lot, or at another school.
