About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

Students are our first focus. Our mission is to provide a safe and orderly environment that will enable all students to reach their fullest academic and personal potential.

A-G Requirements

To meet minimum admission requirements to a UC or Cal State, you must complete 15 yearlong high school courses with a letter grade of C or better - at least 11 of them prior to your last year of high school. In the graphic below, the chart on the right is the list of A-G requirements.
