Welcome to Business Classes
Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!
If you’re looking for a place where high school actually feels like it connects to the real world, you’ve come to the right spot. At Rowland High School, Career Technical Education (CTE) is designed for students who want their learning to mean something right now, and to open doors later, whether that’s a great job, college, or a technical program.
Our CTE pathways aren’t just lists in a course catalog. Think of them as launchpads: Business and Marketing, Engineering, Health Sciences, Digital Media. Each one gives students a chance to work with their hands and their minds while building, designing, problem-solving, and sometimes, teaming up with actual businesses and professionals from our community. Students can even earn certifications that make their résumés and college applications stand out from the crowd. This is learning with a purpose, where every project and every challenge has a real payoff.
A few things to keep in mind: Showing up matters. If your child needs to miss a day, homework or projects are due the day after they return. If they miss an exam, they’ve got three school days to make it up—otherwise, it might go in the gradebook as a zero. I’ll always do my best to keep grades up-to-date within 48 hours, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. Make it a habit to check Google Classroom every day and Aeries every week for updates.
Questions? Concerns? Just want to know more? Send me an email anytime, and I’ll try to get back to you within 24 hours, a bit longer over the weekends.
