About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.
Students
Students are our first focus. Our mission is to provide a safe and orderly environment that will enable all students to reach their fullest academic and personal potential.
Parents
Parent support is the cornerstone for a successful relationship between RHS and home.
Counseling
Our counseling staff supports the academic performance, college-readiness, career development, and personal growth of each student.
Athletics
We offer 22 varsity sports, providing an opportunity for students with a variety of skills and interests to take part in athletic competitions.
Alumni
With a history of over 50 years, RHS has provided education for extraordinary alumni.

A Message To All Rowland Families From The Rowland High School Principal

On Saturday students reported a potential threat that was being circulated via social media. Our staff immediately contacted Walnut Sheriff station and began an investigation. At this point we can confirm that there is no threat to Rowland High School or any other school in the Rowland Unified School District. Again, law enforcement have confirmed there is no threat to our school or district. Student safety is of the utmost importance to us. The RHS staff will remain vigilant in providing a safe learning environment for our community. I personally would like to thank and commend our students for notifying staff in a prompt manner.
