Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.

CAR Hour Volunteer Opportunity

Hello my name is Deborah Meza and I am a teacher at Shelyn Elementary. I am part of the school committee in charge of this event. We are having an upcoming 50th celebration for our school on September 19th from 5-7pm.

I am wondering if there is any way to get some students here to help run the games and booths we will have, to help them earn their community service hours?

We could use maybe 10 or more helpers. We would probably need them to arrive at Shelyn about 4:00 to help set up and get situated. Then help with clean up a bit too, maybe until about 7:00-7:30. So, if they came the whole time it would be 3 - 31/2 hours.
