In case you're curious: In order to sync all of Summit's extra functionality that other calendar apps don't have - being able to complete events, add checklists, prioritization, etc - we need to create one event per calendar as an anchor for reliable syncing.

- We filter them out of Summit's Planner view and search results

This way, the only way you should ever see these events is if you (1) use another calendar client, and (2) look back 21 days in the past.
