Intermediate Theatre (Period 3) Assignments

1. start with a neutral facial expression.
2. make and wear 2 imaginary masks of different facial expressions (3 times each mask).
3. transition clearly and effectively from neutral face to mask and back.
4. keep track of all imaginary objects (paint brushes, masks, etc.) and not let them disappear or reappear fro thin air.

1. Go on youtube and watch another Marcel Marceau performance video.
2. Write a perfect paragraph describing the content/plot of the performance.
3. Submit a typed copy of the paragraph.

Bring in clothes that will be worn when recording the commercial

• a photo of you dressed in the clothes is okay.
• up to 2 options may be shown to the teacher for advice on which is best.

• Type another copy of script - Double Spaced
• Use pencil to mark according to guidelines in packet (color, pause, up/down, billboard, empasis, etc.)
• I suggest you keep a copy of this for yourself
• DO NOT TURN IN ORIGINAL COPY OF SCRIPT!!!

Make/Adapt products to film in the commercial

1. Must have 3 labels/logos
2. ENTIRE NAME must be seen by the camera
3. Label/logo must be appealing
   (Computer generating labels is advised)
4. Ideas:

• Product you are going to consume, wear, etc.
• Variety of sizes/variations in scent, flavors, etc.
• Sign or poster
• T-shirt or other garment

• be between 45 seconds and 1 minute in length
• be a 1 person spokesperson commercial
• must allow student to meet all requirements of the assignment (see commercial evaluation handout)
• be typed and approved by Ms. De Lion on or before this date
