Spanish Club

The Spanish Club works toward the goal of promoting and understanding the Spanish language and the Latino culture among the students of Rowland High School.

The officers and membership plan activities throughout the year to meet the club's goal including social gatherings, fund-raising, participation in food sales and Multicultural Week, and field trips.

Club Constitution

Article One

Organization: The name of this organization is: Spanish Club
Purpose: To influence individual members to participate in spirit activities pertaining to school and to further advance their knowledge in Spanish language and a study of the Latino culture.
Time, Place, and Frequency of Meetings: At least once or twice a month in P-20 at 12:30.
Dues: Each member is to give a $4.00 donation for the Spanish Club

Article Two - Authority

Club members must abide by all Student Body Rules and Regulations.
Club members must also abide by all by-laws agreed upon by this club.
   
Article Three - Membership

Member eligibility: Any Rowland High School student who is interested in the Spanish language and the Latino culture.
   
Article Four  - Duties of Officers

President: Preside at club meetings.
Vice President: Substitute for the president in his/her absence.
Secretary: To read and take minutes at club meetings; to handle club correspondence.
Treasurer: To help advisor receive and deposit all funds and receipts; to submit budget report at  each meeting; to submit to ASB a Financial Report at the end of each financial activity.
Publicity:  To help the club promote upcoming activities.
Historian:  To take pictures and prepare a club yearbook each year.
