Draw a visual and add color and label each one. 
10/06/202:
Focus: Using any 5 words and create 5 sentences. 
Notes: Practice Workbook 1B-1. Write out A and B. 
Homework: Top left hand side on page 46, answer the 3 questions in Spanish. Answer in complete sentences. 
Go-online: Vocabulary practice: bottom of page 47. Take a picture of  your results and write 1 sentence of how you did on this review.

Focus: #6, page 23, copy the model first. Make a list of 5 classes and select any 5 verbs from the word bank and create sentences.
For example: 1. En la clase de español, los estudiantes aprenden de memoria el vocabulario.
Notes: #13, page 26, read all quotes and write all 3 quotes in Spanish. Summarize in your own words all quotes. (try to summarize in Spanish)
9/29- 0 period only:
Focus: #3, page 41, write out 1-5 and create 2 new ones, as discussed in class today.
Notes: #17, page 29, answer questions 1 and 5 only using complete sentences. 
Periods 0 and 5th: Homework: Go-online- page 29. Stem-changing verbs.  Code at the bottom right hand side of page 29. You must take a picture.
Or you may do the following: Using category 1: create 10 original sentences in Spanish. (page 40)
9/29: 5th period only: Focus: Practice WB 1A-2, Write out A and B. Inserts answers and be ready to participate at our next Zoom meeting.

Focus: read and write Versos sencillos- José Martí- page 25.  #9, page 25, write out questions and answer after reading poem.
Notes: #12, page 26, copy questions 3 and 4 only. Answer questions.
Homework: #14, page 27, Mi clase favorita- read and select correct answers by conjugating the verb, for each number.
Write 4 sentences with answers from activity #14, page 27. Be ready to participate when asked to do so.
Use the formula: La formula de una oración-(subject, verb, object). 
Thursday: 9/24 
Focus: #12, page 26, answer questions 1, 2, and 5, in complete sentences.
Notes: #16, page 28, Minimum of 6 verbs & you must create a paragraph in Spanish. Underline all verbs used.

Focus: Copy Nationalities: page 6, from El Salvador- Panamá.
Notes: Explorar el mundo, 1-5, for homework complete 6-12. 
Notes: Activity (2) page 8,  Qué haces? Read with class and in your notes section( #13, page 8), copy chart and listen with care for instructions.
Homework: Write out activity 14, page 9, underline all answers, make sure you write clearly. ( you may type this for submission-)
 
8/27 or 8/28 (Thursday or Friday) depending on your class date.
Focus: El Horario- Practice Workbook. Write out and skip a line. Insert answers using a different color.
Grade : we will grade in class, the homework from previous day.  (be ready to participate)
Notes: Activity 15, page 10 ( copy questions and answer using a different color).
Homework: Students will read activity 19, page 11, students will answer questions 1-7. You must copy each question and answer using a different color.
All homework and notes are due at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday. Students may turn in the work on Friday, August 28th, 2020.

Classwork & Homework for week of 8/17 to 8/21

During this week: 8-17 to 8-21
Students will listen, read and write in the target language by learning about adjectives and the verb ser.
Monday and Tuesday: Activities 4, 5, and 6 page 4. (Notes Section) of the composition book. Practice On-line with pages 4 or 5. 
Wednesday: On-line learning and completing any assignments from current week.
Thursday and Friday: Nationalities pages 6-7  ( on-line practice with Nationalities) page 7.
Notes: Activity 11, page 7, copy model and select any 2 new students and write out. (notes section)
Homework: Conjugate 3 verbs: Hablar, Comer, and Vivir. page 9.
Create 1 sentence per verb. For example: Yo hablo con mis amigas todos los dias.
Practice online: with nationalities page 7, bottom right hand side. Write 1-2 sentences of how you did with this practice.
Friday: Watch video posted on Goggle Classroom and write at least 12 examples of adjectives. (this should be done in the Notes section of your Composition Book.
All homework/ notes/ classwork is due on Saturday, by 12:00 PM  (8-22-2020).
