We use grammar for listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Today's lesson - Adverbs- An adverb describes an action. In the word adverb
Ad- represents the adjective and verb the action. This will help you to remember the function of the adverb.  Examples:
He ran quickly.
She sang beautifully       red=verb       blue= adverb
Do your work carefully.
Adverbs are used to describe when, where and how actions occur.
Examples:
Will it rain soon? (when)
We looked carefully at the clouds. (how)
We looked down at the water. (where)
Suddenly the rain started to pour. (when)
Go quickly.
We ran quickly and effortlessly.
The rain poured heavily.
