Intro to Animation (Period 5) Assignments

This course introduces students to the creation of animated imagery through various media. We will begin with simple perspective structures, Anatomy poses and proceed through programs such as Photoshop, Flash animation, 3D studio Max and Maya. A major portion of the course will involve learning to use Adobe’s CS software and User Interface. Along the way we will examine the history of the moving image and the power and influence of animation and computer generated imagery in our contemporary culture.
