Life Management (Period 6) Assignments

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your student to my Life Management Class.  This yearlong class covers the six core areas of Family and Consumer Sciences.  They are:  Consumer Education, Family Living, Child Development, Foods and Nutrition, Interior Design/Housing, and Fashion Design.   *This class has just recently been ARTICULATED for 3 Units at Mt. SAC (Life Management FCS 41) IF you’re child:  completes the full year course with a B or better, keeps a yearlong notebook of work, and successfully passes the exam given in May.  I sincerely feel that classroom success correlates with strong support from the home.  Together, I hope we can provide a meaningful learning experience for your son or daughter.
