Students were given a writing assignment yesterday, 8-29, that will be due on Friday, 9-6. There was ample instruction re: this writing assignment. Students are to focus on 8 words that end with the suffix " -ate ." There are to select any 5 of those 8 words and write a good paragraph on each one. They will write a total of five paragraphs that may be linked together in an essay format, or they may simply write five free standing paragraphs that are independent of each other.
