Comic Contour Line Drawing
Because this is an Advanced Arts Course, some skills must be refined as well as developed. In this project, your hand and eye coordination will be very prominent as you will not only need to reproduce a comic stripe, but also ink the entire image in while making no smear marks. You will also be introduced to Indian Ink and quills to help you create more vivid works of art through the process of re-appropriation.
Ultimately, this project will help develop your skills in regarding objects and remembering their dimensions without having to see the object. You will be locking in vivid memories of the work as you carefully draw the comic image of your choice.
