Hello, Diamond Bar is helping host a financial literacy seminar with a guest speaker.  All members are welcome to attend.  The location: Claremont McKenna College.  Date: January 24 (Friday).  Time: 4-6 pm.  Please RSVP by letting me know in the comments section below if you'd like to attend.  You can also message our instagram to RSVP.  RSVP closes by the 14th.  Thanks!

Good luck to all those testing tomorrow and the next few days.  Don't stress too much, use your best judgement.  Tiebreakers are decided first by the last ten questions (they're the hardest) and then by the time it took to complete the test.  Business attire is not mandatory.  Get a good night's sleep.  Wishing all of you the best!  Testing room: E7.  Make sure to show up on time as announced in the schedule.  You might have to show up at 10 if you are in certain events.  The official schedule should be under an assignment named important.

Reviewm which days and times you need to show up to school from January 6-10 depending on your event.  Check out the stream for resources.  Find practice tests by typing: (your event) practice test FBLA.  Look at competency lists and event information.  Make ups are not allowed.

Hello, unfortunately we received notice you cannot take the test outside of school as FBLA will be monitoring through multiple means to ensure all students are at the proper location.  We will be considering students who cannot make these testing dates for state events so please keep this in mind.  We're very sorry for the inconvenience.  Please check the list of events in Google Classroom for any possible state events you'd like to participate in.

Other Information: Business attire is not necessary during testing days, only on January 25th at the conference.  Please bring laptops as backup devices for testing if you are taking a test from January 6-10.  Remember that you must be at Rowland High School at 12:00 pm. to take your test.  YOU MUST BE AT ROWLAND HIGH SCHOOL OR ELSE OUR CHAPTER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.  If you cannot make it, refer to the information above.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.  I can't stress it enough.

January 7-10 testing schedule is posted in Google Classroom.  Write down the dates and make sure you come to school at 12:00 pm to take your exam.  YOU MUST SHOW UP AT 12:00 pm to take the test.  Testing will most likely end around 2:00 pm.  If you are absent on the 7-10 EMAIL US WITH YOUR NAME, EVENT, and SITUATION.  I cannot stress this enough because testing must all be done at the exact same time on specific dates.

Also, please note that you MUST HAVE A SECTION STARTING EVENT.  We've verified that everyone does already, but just to make sure, check the stream for the google sheet that shows whether or not your event is section or state starting.  You must have at least one section starting event.  Thank you.

Hello everyone, here's some important changes FBLA administrators have made to testing procedures:
Testing Dates: The testing window is set for January 6 - January 10 based on school preferences.
Testing Format:
Students can take two tests per day.
All students must test on the assigned subject(s) days.
Each test will only be open for one hour, and all students will test on the same subject at the same time.
Students must test at RHS under proctor supervision.
Testing Locations: RHS   E-7 and E-8Missed Tests: Students who miss their scheduled test cannot make it up on a different day or time.Registration opens November 25 and closes January 3.Performance Events: These will take place live and in person on January 25, 2025, at California State University, Fullerton.
We will let you know how Rowland will divide testing among the set of days.  Please note that testing will most likely happen after school on those assigned days.  Thank you.

To apply for an officer position, please follow these steps:
1. Complete the attached Google Form once. You will not be able to edit, so don't rush through it.
2. Attach and Upload a Resume (one page only!) If you do not have one, then create one. There are templates available in Microsoft Word. If you don't have Word, then find a sample on the Internet and create one in Google Docs. If you don't have work experience of volunteer experience, then don't list it...don't make it up.
3. The deadline is May 13.
