Text: Hole's Human Anatomy & Physiology. Welsh/Prentice-Craver 16th ed.

Anatomy & Physiology is an advanced yearlong course which provides students with a basic study of the relationships between the structure and function of the human body.  The body will be presented as a living functioning homeostatic organism.

The curriculum will cover basic anatomical and directional terminology, principles of tissues as well as the following body systems: skeletal, muscular, integumentary, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, urinary and reproductive.

The course will be especially useful for students who plan to continue their education beyond high school or enter a science / health -related career. However non-science majors who just want to learn more about the human body will benefit from taking this class.
