About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.
Students
Students are our first focus. Our mission is to provide a safe and orderly environment that will enable all students to reach their fullest academic and personal potential.

International Thespian Society

The International Thespian Society (ITS) is an honor society for high school theatre students who are committed to the arts. To become a Thespian, a student must fulfill the necessary requirements and go through an interview and ceremony. Once initiated, the student is inducted into the Rowland High School Troup #3191. Thespians are required to participate in 2 productions a year, document at least 20 hours of work, and maintain an active theatre club member status. At the end of their senior year, Thespians in good standing are presented with a gold medallion at graduation.
