It is with pleasure that I welcome you and your student to this social studies course during the 2022- 2023 school year. We are participants in truly historical times. I am extremely proud of the work that our students have done over the past two years, but I am a firm believer that in-person classroom instruction cannot be replaced by technology. We will diligently work together in this current situation to create an environment of curiosity and academic investigation as we explore the history of the modern world. I look forward to an outstanding year.
