Academic Integrity: No Cheating, Copying (including tracing on Chromebooks, tracing paper to paper, copying art [as if it was your original idea and not changing anything about it]), AI enhancements (ChatGPT) or Plagiarizing.

In this class, it is important to maintain academic integrity at all times. All work submitted must be your own original creation. Cheating, copying, or plagiarizing from another student, a printed source, or the internet will not be tolerated and will result in a zero for the assignment.

Examples of academic dishonesty include, but are not limited to:

- Copying or tracing another artist/student work.

- Using unauthorized materials or resources during in-class projects. (AI)

- Submitting work that is not your own (including work completed by someone else at home or by help of ChatGPT).

- Plagiarizing from online or print sources without proper citation.

Consequences:

Any violation of this policy will result in a grade of zero for the assignment, with potential additional consequences as outlined by the school’s academic honesty policy (e.g. being dropped from the class). I expect all students to engage with their creative process in a way that is authentic and honors their own artistic growth.

Discipline:
Rowland High School's discipline, tardy and truancy rules will be enforced. Consequence follow:
1. General class warning or individual warning
2. Guardian contact
3. School Detention / Discipline
