The AP Spanish Language and Culture course, which is conducted almost exclusively in Spanish, adheres to all the objectives and curricular requirements established by the College Board. Emphasis is placed on the four language skills--listening, speaking, reading and writing--along with the inclusion of other important elements of language learning. The grammatical concepts, vocabulary lists and the culture of the Spanish-speaking countries is provided. The students are exposed to a myriad of literary works--modern and classic--via the different genres. Preparation for the AP Spanish Language is essential. Authentic ancillary materials are utilized, which facilitates maintaining an authentic learning environment in the classroom.

 
 
Spanish 4
 
The Spanish 4 course is an advanced language course designed to build upon students' existing Spanish skills and prepare them for AP Spanish Language and Culture or university-level Spanish courses. This course is conducted almost exclusively in Spanish. The class focuses on enhancing all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) while incorporating advanced grammar and vocabulary. Students will also explore Spanish and Latin American culture through various media and literary works.
Spanish 2
 
The Spanish 2 course builds upon the foundational skill learned in Spanish 1, further developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities in Spanish. This course emphasizes grammar, vocabulary, and cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries. Students will also begin to engage with literature to enhance their reading comprehension.
