About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.

We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC)

The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) exams will take place for all 9-12 grade students on Wednesday, February 19th at 3:15 in room B-1. Last year, over 225,000 students around the world participated in these competitions and found them to be both fun and rewarding. Awards are given for top performers, and many top universities and technical institutions ask for AMC scores on their applications. The exam is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and we only have exams for 20 Jr./Sr. and 20 Frosh/Soph. See Mr. Girard in room B-1 during Nutrition or Lunchtime to reserve your spot.
