About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

Spring Registration

Soon students will be registering for next year’s classes. Parent signature and approval is required on their registration form before they turn it back into the counselor on their assigned registration day. Students and parents should plan to review the catalog of courses on the website and talk with teachers about your educational plan and classes for next year. Students who do not return their signed registration forms will have their classes chosen by their counselor. All course selections are final. The registration schedule is below based on the student’s English teacher (or US History teacher for juniors):

Juniors: Pre-registration on February 3 & 5, Registration from February 10-15

Freshmen: Pre-registration on February 6 & 7, registration from February 18-24

Sophomores: Pre-registration on March 17,20 & 24, registration from March 25-28
