About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

Memoir I am the mother of Cherish E. Herndon who graduated in 1991, & she was the proud member of the award winning RHS Drill Team for 3 years. I am posting this in honor of her passing on January 9, 2011. I want to thank all of her sister Drill Team members & fellow graduates who was able to attend from near & far her memorial on February 5, 2011. At the time of her passing I am proud to say she was a licensed chef who graduated from one of the top culinary schools with high honors. Thank you RHS for giving her the academics she needed to succeed in her short but accomplished life.
