Welcome to Physics and Physical Science

Welcome to my science class! My name is Ms. Caringal (she/her/hers) , but you can also address me as Ms. C or Coach C. 

 

I teach both Physics and Physical Science. I love physics because of how easy you can apply what you learn to your every day life. For example, I coach volleyball at RHS. I apply what I learn/teach from physics to my coaching. My hope for this class is for you all to see the joy in the physical sciences. 

 

In all my classes, you will need a physical notebook. This notebook will be called your "sketch notes". This is an interactive science notebook. The sketch part is very important. You will be sketching meaningful pictures to help you study science in a unique way. Sketch notes are fun, colorful, and can be 100% personalized to fit you. Sketch notes do take a lot of work, but it is very much worth it. The video bellow is an example from last year.
