Course Description

Chemistry is the study of the nature of matter and the changes it undergoes. This course will be devoted to understanding everyday phenomena through the use of laboratory techniques, manipulation of chemical quantities, and problem-solving applications. Concepts will be illustrated with practical applications that include examples from environmental, nuclear, organic, and biochemistry content areas.
 
For Students: All announcements and assignments, along with their due dates, will be posted in class and on Google Classroom. Please join the Google Classroom site for your period using the corresponding codes below:

For Parents/Guardians: Keep track of your student’s classroom progress through guardian email summaries. You can choose the frequency of the emails—daily or weekly—and you can unsubscribe or remove yourself from Classroom at any time.
