American History, Immigrant Contribution, Rules of the Game, and With a Little Help With My Friends all discuss immigrants and Americans. What's is your theme?

B. Personal Story: What story about American do you want to tell? Stories you can tell can be about: Hardships of Immigration or immigrants, seeking opportunity or success, Americans as seen through sports, representing America, fitting or not fitting in, identity about which culture your represent, rascism or social injustice, or any personal story dealing with a theme that can be connected to the idea of our readings. What is your story? If you are not sure what story you can tell ask a family member or a friend about their experiences. Borrow experiences that can be helpful to a interesting story for yourself or to who you want to discuss. Brainstorm with myself, family, or others you trust to help you develop a story you are interested in telling about America.
