He continues to give back to his community through volunteer work and motivational speaking at the local high school and college.

Dr. Bruce Rogers – Dentist: Graduated Class of 1980

Both Bruce and his wife Anita graduated from Rowland High and he is the first to say that he was not academically inclined. However, that did not stop Bruce and he went on to graduate from Biola College with a degree in biology and then graduated from Loma Linda University Dental School. Bruce now owns a successful dental practice in Yorba Linda, California and is the founder and director of a free dental clinic in downtown Los Angeles located at the Dream Center, which is a non-profit faith-centered organization that helps people get back on their feet. His passion for volunteer dentistry has also taken him to the slums of Nairobi, Kenya and other countries in Africa to provide free dental care to the poorest of the poor. In addition, he mentors dental students through dental schools at UCLA and Western University of Health Services. He has taken several students on his mission trips to Africa to allow them to participate in delivering care to patients under the supervision of dental school faculty. He also has undergraduates volunteering in the L.A. clinic. Bruce and his wife are also very active in their church and Bruce teaches a home bible study group.

Mr. Julian Dave White – Owner/President – Web Video Vision: Graduated Class of 1985

Thirty years ago, as ASB President, Dave delivered the welcome speech at our Welcome Back student assembly. Since that time he started a career in the motion picture industry working post production on movies and T.V. shows. In 1998, he founded Web Video Vison. His company produces content in the form of video, website, and graphic design for companies such as FedEx, GE Aircraft Engines, the White House, the Hair Club for Men, and many others. His company has been recognized in Forbes magazine as one of the top companies in the industry. Dave believes in giving back to the community. As such, last year he was on the volunteer committee to plan Rowland High's 50th Jubilee and developed all of the promo videos for the event including in-depth interviews of our principal and all of our past principals to gather the history of Rowland High. He has also been the chairman for every one of his class reunions and is currently volunteering with an organization called High School Inc., which provides college preparation academies. In addition, he volunteers at his church to feed the homeless at Thanksgiving and assists with neighborhood charities and functions.
