2018 HONORSGRADU "Design a Better Future" Scholarship 

Eligibility: Applicants must be a graduating senior who plans to attend an accredited post-secondary college or university. Whether through essays or multimedia, students have used their voices to share visions for a better world. Applicants will put them to action! We're asking high school seniors to submit a proposal for how they'll better their communities.

Award: 5 winners will be selected to receive $10,000 tuition scholarships to their colleges, with the top one receiving $5,000 funding to launch their project into the design thinking cycle once more during the summer of 2018 to maximize impact.

Deadline: Round 1 Proposal is due February 11, 2018, Round 2 Proposal due March 18 and Final Reflection Proposal due April 15, 2018.

Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship NEW
Eligibility: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, submit an essay promoting vegetarianism (see website for more info), 3 recommendation letters, either transcripts or report cards for the past two years, and any documentation related to promoting vegetarianism in school, and or community ect. 
Award: $10,000 (1 recipient), $5,000 (2 recipients)

Wells Fargo Academic Leaders Fellowship Program NEW 

Eligibility: High school graduating senior who is Pell-eligible, A US citizen, national or permanent resident, in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Students who wish to be competitive should also have strong SAT/ACT scores and be recognized as leaders on campus in the surrounding community. Students must plan to attend an accredited US non for profit, public or private university or college in the Fall.

Project Yellow Light Billboard Scholarship NEW
Eligibility: Applicant must be a high school junior or senior, or a full-time undergraduate college student. Must submit a design for a billboard advertisement to encourage safe driving (see website for details).
Award: $2,000

SEG Scholarship NEW
Eligibility: Applicant must be a high school senior planning on attending college next year or an undergraduate or graduate college student, has above average grades, is intending to pursue a college curriculum directed toward a career in applied geophysics.
Award: Range from $500 - $10,000 per academic year

Farm Kids for College Scholarship NEW
Eligibility: Applicant must be a high school senior who plans to pursue an agriculture-related degree at an accredited college or university, must write two brief essays, submit two letters of reference, official transcripts, GPA, and ACT or SAT scores.
Award: $1,000 (3 recipients)

Nuvein Foundation for Literature and the Arts NEW

Eligibility: Applicant must be a junior or a senior high school student intending to pursue a career/degree in the creative field.  Proof of residence and intent to apply to an institution of higher education will be require at time f selection. Applicant must have minimum, cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Must complete Visionary Scholarship Award Form. One essay with a maximum of 300 words. Official high school transcript. One letter of recommendation by a counselor, teacher, or community leader, preferably by someone having a background in creative arts or literature. Student portfolio in medium choice, digital preferred. 

Award: $500

ECLIPSE SCHOLARSHIP 2018 NEW
Eligibility: High school seniors who are of African-American ethnicity, minimum GPA 2.0, turn in a letter of recommendation from a teacher, and proof of acceptance to a four-year college or university. 
Award: $1,000

Microsoft disAbility Scholarship NEW
Eligibility: Applicant must be a current high school senior living with a disability (as defined by WHO), whether that be visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive, speech or other disability, plan to attend an undergraduate program in a 2 or 4 year university/college or technical college in the fall of 2018, school must be in the US or have US-affiliated for financial transactions (contact Seattle Foundation to verify non-US school's eligibility), declare a major in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, law, business, or a related field, have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, require financial assistance to attend college.
Award: $5,000 per year up to $20,000

Beyond the Boroughs National Scholarship NEW
Eligibility: Applicant must be accepted to an accredited four-year college, university, or equivalent, low income household, 2.5 GPA or higher, involvement in an extra-curricular activity or work, completion of a full application including a completed Student Aid Report from the FAFSA or the CSS profile.
Award: up $20,000 over four years
Deadline: March 15, 2018
 

California Association of Winegrape Growers Foundation (CAWG) Scholarships 

Eligibility: Children whose parent(s) or legal guardians are employees of a California wine grape grower working in 2017-2018 wine grape growing season are eligible to apply. Applicants must be a high school graduating senior.

Award: $2,000-$8,000

Deadline: March 16, 2018

2018 California Credit Union Scholarship Program NEW
Eligibility: Graduating high school senior planning to attend a two or four year college/university, minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher, evidence of community and/or school involvement. 
Award: 10 scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded

Asian Pacific Fund 

Eligibility: Varies dependent on scholarship.  Asian Pacific Fund administers 9 scholarships. See individual scholarship for eligibility. 

Award: Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $20,000 and many are renewable.

Deadline: Vary depending on scholarship

Royal Business Bank Scholarship 

Eligibility: High school senior, plans to attend a US accredited 4-Year college or university, minimum cumulative non-weighted high school GPA of 3.0, household income at or below the County Low Income Level, employees of Royal Business Bank and their immediate family members are NOT eligible.

Award: $1,000 (20 recipients)

Taiwanese American Scholarship

Eligibility: US citizen or US permanent resident and a direct blood descendant of a Taiwanese citizen, high school senior or 1st year college student residing in the United States, plan to attend a university or college as a full time 1st or 2nd year student in the Fall of 2018 in the US, minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0, have a household income at or below the Federal/State/County Low Income Level.

Award: $5,000 (10 recipients)

USPAACC Scholarship NEW

Eligibility: Applicant must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application, a high school senior, of Asian Pacific Island heritage (except Bruce Lee Scholarship), a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, beginning full-time study at an accredited post-secondary educational institution in the United States in Fall 2018, able to attend 2018 CelebrAsian Procurement Conference May 29 - June, Bethesda, MD, should demonstrate academic achievement of 3.3 GPA or higher, leadership in extracurricular activities, involvement in community service, and financial need.

Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Conference (HENAAC) Scholars Program NEW

Eligibility: Graduating senior of Hispanic decent, minimum 3.0 GPA or higher, has shown leadership or service within the Hispanic community, plans to attend a two-year or four-year college or university with a major in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Math fields. 

Award: $10,000 renewable scholarship per year
