Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Conference (HENAAC) Scholars Program 

Eligibility: Graduating senior of Hispanic decent, minimum 3.0 GPA or higher, has shown leadership or service within the Hispanic community, plans to attend a two-year or four-year college or university with a major in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Math fields. 

Award: $10,000 renewable scholarship per year

Society of Women's Engineers Scholarships 

Eligibility: US citizen or permanent resident of the United States, total GPA of at least 3.5 and who plans to attend a college or university in the fall studying a program involving engineering.

Sylvia B. Stella Memorial Grant 2018 

Eligibility: High school senior in the Rowland Unified School District; minimum 3.0 GPA or above all 4 years; demonstrates positive character as attested to in a teacher recommendation letter; and student is planning to attend a 4 year college or university. Special consideration will be given to bilingual students, as well as students who are the first generation in their family to attend college.

Award: $2,000

Rowland Council PTA ADA MAY WARNER Scholarship 2018 

Eligibility: A graduating senior who plans to continue their education, maintain B average grades or above, promotes positive citizenship and character, shows campus and community involvement, and demonstrates financial need.

Award: $300

Leo H. Agredano Scholarship 2018 NEW

Eligibility: Graduating senior with a GPA between 2.0-3.0 who has faced challenges/difficult situations throughout high school. 

Award: Two $500 awards will be granted

Christopher K. Inouye Memorial Scholarship 2018 NEW

Eligibility: Graduating senior who is involved in football, baseball or softball. Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and must plan to attend a two-year or four-year college in the spring. 

Award: $400

Kids' Chance California NEW

Eligibility:  Child or legal dependent of a worker seriously injured or killed on the job with an accepted workers' compensation case for California, enrolled, accepted or applying as a full or part time student at a university, college, or vocational school, financial need based on Federal Expected Family Contribution (FASFA). 

Award:  Range from $1,000 - $10,000 per year paid in two installments

PLEDGE YOUR #COLLEGIANCE Contest 

Eligibility: A contest for college-bound students everywhere. Students can enter by simply announcing their college decision on Instagram and tagging it with #collegiance.

2018 Arms Wide Open Award NEW

Eligibility: Any student who has the desire to pursue higher education. Students from all backgrounds and ethnicity. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher with no D's or F's to apply.

Divorce Matters Scholarship 

Eligibility: Applicant must be a high school senior planning to attend a 4 year college/university or a 2 year community college for fall of 2018. Must submit a 500-word essay answering "How has divorce touched your life? In what ways did it shape you into the person you are today?". Must submit a transcript and application for consideration.

Award: $2,500

Jeff Sein Kwan Yang Memorial Scholarship 

Eligibility: Graduating senior who is an immigrant or a child of an immigrant AND is committed to serving the immigrant community in some aspect. Scholarship is open to students of all ethnic backgrounds and students from low income or working class families are strongly encouraged to apply.

Award: $500

Foster Child Scholarship 

Eligibility: Applicant must currently be placed or have been placed in foster care (proof of placement required), must submit official transcript, recommendation letters and/or resume are highly encouraged.

First Generation College Scholarship 

Eligibility: This scholarship is available to incoming freshman and college students who will attend, community college, 4-year college/university or law school and who's parent(s) did not complete any post high school education. A transcript with counselor or school representative signature must be submitted for consideration. Although not required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and/or resumes.  

Award: $1,000

2018 Latino Caucus Foundation Scholarship Program NEW

Eligibility: Open to all qualified seniors who are in good academic standing and have a written proof of acceptance to an accredited institution of higher learning. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must submit all required supplementary documents prior to the application deadline.

Award: $1,000

Horatio Alger National Career & Technical Scholarship Program NEW

Eligibility: Graduating senior who will be enrolled in a 2 year or less career/technical degree/certificate program in Fall 2018. Must attend a not-for-profit post-secondary institution, demonstrate financial need; applicants must be eligible for a Pell Grant. All applicants must be a US citizen. 

Award: Up to $2,500

Eligibility: Students ages 13-18. Applicants must create a short video (under 3 minutes) explaining a challenging concept in physics, mathematics, or the life sciences in an engaging, illuminating and creative way.
