Financial Aid
Financial Aid helps students and families cover college expenses, such as tuition & fees, room & board, and books & supplies. There are several types of financial aid you will be considered for, depending on if you meet eligibility requirements. Seniors should complete a financial aid application beginning January 1st. Your financial aid application will be sent to the schools you list and the college/university will determine your eligibility (after your acceptance).
The first step to apply for financial aid is to complete ONE of the following applications:
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (If the student is a U.S. Citizen or Eligible Non-Citizen)
OR - California Dream Act Application (CADAA) (If the student is undocumented, or U Visa holder, and attend a California High School for 3 or more years)
If you are a senior, you should complete the financial aid application beginning in late December. The state deadline to submit the application is April 2nd.
