About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

Day 3 of the caffeine extraction lab students need to evaporate the solvent without evaporating the caffeine. Beakers are heated on the sand bath until they are just almost dry. Care is needed here otherwise the caffeine will be lost.
