In this class, we will focus on production-level projects. We will be working with industry partners to gain a better insight into how the students can approach a career in the entertainment industry.

The class format will be a demo reel, studio production level one class that will guide the student's through development of a animated short film, motion graphics commercial, a series and portfolio development aimed at advanced production techniques.

We will develop industry-level production projects that students can market to community colleges, UC, CalStates, or studio-level internships.

At the end of the semester our students will present and pitch their product to three industry partners that will give them insight and a deeper understanding of production pipelines and industry practices.

The idea is to connect the work they are producing in class and the work they are seeing produced by production companies and help them bridge the gap between the classroom and industry.

Class assignments will be a mirror image of what the students would experience in the industry.
Each month we will have a different industry speaker that will give an insight into the projects and how relatable they are to the current topic.
By the end of the school semester, the student will have a working knowledge of different career options in entertainment.
