Graduation Requirements

Requirement #1: Credits- Earn 225 Credits in the following 22.5 courses:
  • 40 credits/4 classes of English
  • 30 credits/3 classes of Social Studies comprised of World History, U.S. History, and Government/Economics
  • 20 credits/2 classes of Science
  • 20 credits/2 classes of Mathematics
  • 10 credits/1 class of either Foreign Language or Fine Arts
  • 20 credits/2 classes of Physical Education
  • 5 credits/1 semester of Health
  • 80 elective credits/8 classes
 
Requirement #2: CAR Hours- Complete 60 Community Activity Requirement hours.
 
CAR hours may be earned through participation in out-of-class activities such as performances, athletic events, clubs, competition and unpaid community involvement. Your child must earn a total of 60 hours. Below you can download a CAR Hour Handbook with suggestions as to how to earn CAR hours, as well as a log sheet for recording hours. 
Requirement #3: Career Pathway Electives- Take 2 elective classes in the same pathway. Classes must be taken at the introductory level and at the advanced level.
