Course Description

Welcome to AP Psych with Hsiao  

Course Objectives:

The purpose of this course reflects the intent stated in the AP Psychology Course Description, “to introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals.” The course objectives are:

  • Students will be able to state, compare, contrast, define, and apply psychological concepts & perspectives
  • Students will be able to use strategies & methods to understand & remember scientific methods & theories in psychology
  • Students will be prepared to succeed on the AP Psychology Exam, scoring a 3 or higher.
  Attached to the right are  Course Syllabus & Writing rules for the essay portion of the AP test   Assignments and quizzes will be posted in Google Classroom. Videos, lecture powerpoints, study materials, and just plain interesting stuff will also be available on Google Classroom please join Google Classroom and get into the feed now.
