Advanced Theatre/Adv. Theatre Projects-Period 1 Assignments

Create a list of 15 questions (that you will eventually answer in a flipgrid) to introduce yourself to your new partner(s). Reveal the things about yourself as an artist that will help them know how to best work with you.

Create a do with 15 important questions to ask your design partner so you can have the necessary information to work with them.

Brainstorm with your partner and create a doc that shows what you both know about Greek Theatre and Greek Mythology. You can organize it however you want, use a graphic organizer or outline, whatever you like.

The information comes quickly. I suggest watching the video more than once.

Prompt - Describe how the process of creating the verbatim monologue changed your view of yourself as an artist and a person.

Submit an outline containing statement about what each paragraph of the essay will contain.

Minimum 5 paragraphs

Take your time and record your entire monologue. I've set the time limit at 10 minutes. I don't expect it to run that long, but I don't want it to cut you off.

Minimum length is 2 minutes.

You are allowed some editing: beginning, ending, if you want to switch poses/locations.

Record the first 30 seconds or your monologue. Consider pose, proximity, and personality in your recording.

Remember to keep your choices clear & short.
Also keep your explanations long and detailed.

Turn in your finished script of your verbatim, biographical monologue about your partner.

Please complete and turn in the attached Google Form.

The sub will divide you into groups. Read your monologue aloud. Write down the areas of strength and improvement provided by your peers. Choose 1 area to focus improvement. Complete the attached Google form.

If your monologue is unfinished, you must complete it first and turn it in before you will be assigned a group.

At this point, there is no length requirement.

However, I ask you to please use 12 point basic font and double space.

Please be prepared before you record in order to eliminate uhmms and uughs.

Please list the name of the artist and attach a link to the video.

Create an actual or virtual background for your workspace that is a collage of at least 4 pictures that are representative of you.

Take a picture or make a copy and post it in the assignment.

Write 1 sentence next to each statement describing one of the following things:
-what you think it means (blue)
-how you will accomplish this (green)
-what you don't understand about the statement (red)
