Good morning, well I finished grading the Nervous system/Brain questions.  First let me say thank you to those who used your notes and text to answer them.  To those who took to the internet to find answers--What can I say.  I found a source book online and chose and typed out ones that were appropriate for our covered content so we could have some closure to the topic since we couldn't take the scheduled in class test.  It is unfortunate that many of you go directly to the internet first, rather than use your own brain.  Well live and learn, I am definitely learning a lot about how students learn.  I realize "everything" is out there.  But, I believe this information should not be a substitute for personal understanding and learning but away to help it.  Thus I have decided to reduce the value of the questions from 50 pts to 25 pts.  (The other 25 pts I am giving to Quizlet and the internet).   By the way, hold yourselves to a higher standard because I do.  The internet/Quizlet is not always correct as was evidenced in the information many accessed--meaning a couple answers were wrong!  Let this be a warning for those of you who are college-bound.  College professors have many available programs (that your fees pay for) to detect plagiarism besides Turnitin.com.  Don't set yourselves up for failure.  This virtual learning is new for all of us.  I believe I have been very fair about assignments and due dates.  As we move forward please do your own work.  From this point on I will NOT be excepting any late work. This is the same as if you were in class.  With this being said, if have a legitimate reason for not completing an assignment by the due date you MUST contact me.  You must take responsibility for your own actions.       

 

 Now I am going to take the dog for a long walk and "cool" down.  Upon my return I will be creating a google assignment dealing with the Senses and it will be due Monday morning.  Please reference this assignment site daily for any changes.  Be nice to each other, stay focused, do your work in all your classes.  AP students don't forget to look online about testing dates and the format of the AP tests.

Hi everyone.  I am assigning 50 questions that I have made from our Nervous/Brain/Nerve notes Code 9.  Each question will be worth 1 point.  These questions are a substitute for the test you were unable to take.  The questions can be answered from your notes but, you may use the text.  Please do your own work.  "Don't divide and Conquer". You are on the Honor System.  You should do great if you do 7 or 8 questions at a time and don't wait to the last minute.  Follow the directions given in google classroom.  This will be Code 15 and will be due Tuesday, April 14th by 2 pm (afternoon).

Hi, reminder that you assessment questions are due tomorrow by 2:00 pm (afternoon).  Any submitted after that time will lose 10 pts initially for being late.  Remember # 1-25 on one sheet and 26-50 on back. Thanks!  Assignment is Code 15.

Hi all.  There are several students who have NOT responded on google classroom so I know they can submit work through this platform.  Please reach out to others in the class to check teacher sites daily. Maybe I was unclear on the Practice assignment about "attaching"a comment.  Please correspond with others because I will now be collecting assignments worth credit towards your grades.

 

I will be asking that you upload, attach, take screen shot or pic with phone and send me Journal #1 on google classroom ( however you can ) , the ten questions from Ch 10, page 383 which I assigned last week.  These will be due Wednesday March 25th at 12 noon.
