Pages 383-396 close read and annotated especially on pages 387 and 390.

 

Make sure you complete the Comprehension Check, Analyze the text, and Concept Vocabulary on pages 396 and 397 in the consumable. 60 points.

Act 1, scene 1- pages 377-383: close read and annotations (margin notes in the Pearson consumable) due. 20 points 

"The Cyclops" close read and annotations due along with one page of focused notes and a summary activity ( quote that summarizes the theme/motif of the story and explain how that is on the right-hand side. 40 points

Pages 554-564, close read and annotated ( the two stories in The Odyssey, "Sailing from Troy" and "The Lotus Eaters." Make sure you follow the format for the notes and make sure to complete the summary activity for the tales. Due 1/24. 60 points

Due, pages 546 and 547- close read and annotated. Pages 548 and 549 completed in your consumable (paragraph form) to help start Unit 5 on the journey. 60 points

10-2-2 notes due by the end of the period for the Epic PP on The Odyssey with summary activity question. 15 points.

11/29 and 11/30: In-class performance task for Unit 2 in Pearson. 50 points

Start reading pages 12-18 "A Quilt of a Country" and annotate. We will be working on assignments in class.

Focused notes for pages 61-82 due with vocabulary summary activity- 25 points.

Focused notes for pages 60-82 due on 10/5. Make sure and do the summary activity correctly by choosing three new vocab words (minimum) defining the words and using them in sentences (6 max).
