Literary Term Presentation

Directions:
Working in pairs, create a presentation on Google Slides for one of the following literary terms you are assigned (you will not choose). On the slideshow, include the following:
Slide 1: Title Slide (English 11 Literary Terms with partner’s first and last names)
Slide 2: Literary term and its definition
Slide 3: First example of the use of the literary term (with picture)
Slide 4: Second example of the use of the literary term (with picture)
Make sure to check the following before submitting:
Label the project/slideshow (Literary Term with partner’s names)
Correct spelling and grammar
All requirements are met
Font/Color is visible and legible
Getting Started:
One partner will create and share the slideshow with their partner so you can both edit at the same time. 
The partner who created the slideshow will submit on behalf of both of you. 
Every student is responsible for contributing to the slideshow.
Presentations
You and your partner will then present the literary term to the rest of the class. 
Make sure to take handwritten notes during presentations. There will be a quiz on these words.

1. Daisy used to love Gatsby, then married Tom. Now that Gatsby is back in her life, she becomes conflicted.
Is it possible to be in love with two people? If someone is truly in love with one person do you think they can still be attracted or tempted by another person? 


2. Gatsby has been dreaming of being with Daisy again for the last five years. Nick worries that maybe he has built his expectations up too high. 
Draw a comparison to your own life. Describe a time when you built up an expectation for someone. When you got to know them, was it as amazing as you had hoped? Or were you disappointed? Explain.
