Create a holiday ornament following the guidelines and parameters. There are 3 parts required to successfully complete each project. Students will be given 2 attempts to complete a laser-cut project and 2 attempts for a 3D printed project.

1  stl/dxf file. (5pts)

2: Finished physical project
The project must be clear of any defects and must be sanded/sealed if deemed necessary.

CASE STUDY #1: Sketch in Google Classroom

CASE STUDY #1: Sketch

Create a table sign & shield nameplate. A table sign quickly identifies the table number so students can find their seats and locate their locker. The secondary name will meet the needs of teachers and students to self-identify in a classroom/lab setting. The table sign should be freestanding and last longer than a piece of paper. The shield nameplate must be durable and mountable to the shields without damaging the shield. 
 
A case study template will be posted next week. This is where you can record your project progress.
Students will be ENCOURAGED to pair off. Teams should include a minimum of one engineering student and one architecture student.


Start sketching ideas and have something ready to upload. 


Use Sketch on B size paper (17 x 11) or 2 - 8.5x11
