00 EDT I 2021-Fall 2021 Assignments

Create a separate and completely different holiday project that follows all the previous parameters of the previous project. Upload all necessary files OR links, complete slide show, and take a picture with your favorite RHS Staff Member: Administrator, Counselor, Teacher, Aide, and etc. with the ornament. 

Create a holiday or seasonal ornament following the guidelines and parameters. There are 3 parts required to successfully complete the project. Students will be given 2 attempts to complete the project. 
1: Cad files (20 points)
1 Onshape file 1 stl/dxf file. (5pts)

2: Finished physical project (25 points)
The project must be clear of any defects and must be sanded/sealed if deemed necessary. 


3: Slide Present (25 points)
Populate the slide with the necessary information.

COMPLETE THE EXAM TODAY. A PASSING SCORE OF 75% WILL EARN EXTRA CREDIT. THE PRACTICE IS EXAM WILL CLOSE TODAY AT 10 PM. PRACTICE EXAM RESULTS WILL BE POSTED THE FOLLOWING DAY.

This is extra credit and laser engraving/CNC milling opportunity. Reverse engineer the shield shape and in a separate file the ribbon. The major dimensions of the shield are 23.75 in X and 35.75 in Y. Import the image.  A different version of the file may be required. Check back for updates. Files will need to go through extra processing and exporting. MARK AS COMPLETE IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE.

This is an extra credit & 3D Printing opportunity. Reverse engineer the architecture scale clip. The major dimensions are Height 25.4 mm (1 inch) Depth 25.4 mm (1 inch). Import the image. A quarter-inch grid was used for scaling purposes. Extra credit will be given to a functional 3d printed working part. Calipers and other majoring tools are available upon request. MARK AS COMPLETE IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE.

In this project exercise, students will use the provided vellum paper to capture and trace as many details as they can duplicate from the original. Use skills reviewed from the ELEMENTS AND PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN. See attached rubric. Use the simple Title Block. The scale for this project is N/A. Photo blue pencils and the use of a lettering guide will not be necessary for this project. 


Carefully handle the vellum paper. The paper is temperamental which attracts, oil, dirt, and graphite. 


SCAN OR TAKE A PHOTO OF THE COMPLETED SKETCH AND UPLOAD IT TO GOOGLE CLASSROOM TO COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENT.
