As the school year arrives, we want to inform you that the 57th Assembly District College & Career Fair will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights from 10:00am-1:30pm.
Admissions representatives from 40 colleges and universities will be in attendance. Workshops will be held in English and Spanish to cover topics such as financial aid, the DREAM Act, SAT/ACT, UC/CSU admissions, writing personal statements, and community colleges.
Also, high school seniors in the 57th Assembly District are eligible to participate in the essay contest where they will be given the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship.
All high school students who attend will be entered in the opportunity drawing for prizes ranging from $100 to $500. Winners must be present at the fair at the time of the scholarships and opportunity drawing prizes announcements.
The College & Career Fair is FREE to ALL parents & high school students attending schools in the 57th Assembly District.
