About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.
Students
Students are our first focus. Our mission is to provide a safe and orderly environment that will enable all students to reach their fullest academic and personal potential.

Our New Administration/Library Building

Hello Rowland High School Community,

We are very excited to let you know that the new administration/library building located adjacent to Otterbein Avenue will open with the new semester on January 14th. The move into this new building will happen over the winter break and will disrupt the normal operations of the school only from December 22nd through January 13th.

With the relocation of the administrative offices there will be limited access to staff, materials, and communication systems (phones and internet). If there are questions/needs that arise during the winter break, please utilize the Rowland Unified School District’s Educational Services department for assistance at 626-854-8348.

Also note that the district office will be closed from December 24th through January1st.
