About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.

We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.

Biliteracy Award Language Examination for Seniors

If you think that you may qualify for the Biliteracy Award, come to room P-22 at the beginning of lunch on Mondays or Fridays to pick up an application. Bring with you a copy of your transcript from Homelink. Highlight the foreign language courses you have taken, calculate the GPA for the foreign language courses taken at Rowland High School only, and write the GPA by your name at the top of the transcript. Applications will start being accepted on Friday, February, 2/24 AND will be due by Friday, April 14, 2017.
