The team had a strong showing at the Valle Vista League Individual Tournament, finishing with the top 3 ranked singles players. The team includes the Valle Vista MVP and Undefeated Singles Champion Jason Vuong, Singles Runner-up Jenar Orbita and 3rd place Singles Samir Alidina. They team also hold the Doubles Runner-up Team of Brandon Phan and Timothy Tan. Their current overall team record is 20-3.
The men’s team beat Cabrillo/Lompoc 16-2 in the first round of the CIF Playoffs. The team then played Yucaipa High School in the 2nd round of CIF, beating them15-3. In the Quarterfinals of CIF they played against the #4 ranked Rancho Cucamonga High School. The Raiders did well as they defeated Rancho Cucamonga 10-8 to advance to the Semifinals of CIF where they will play against #1 ranked Redlands High School in Redlands on May 18th, 2016 at 3:00 PM.
