About RHS
Rowland High School opened its doors for the first time in 1964. We are a California Distinguished School, a Gold Ribbon School, and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Academics
We offer IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), and AVID (Achievement via Individual Determination) for college bound students.
Students
Students are our first focus. Our mission is to provide a safe and orderly environment that will enable all students to reach their fullest academic and personal potential.
Parents
Parent support is the cornerstone for a successful relationship between RHS and home.

Year 1968 thru 1971

Memoir Growing up in Rowland Heights was a privilege now that I look back. Small town, low crime, graduated high school with many of the same people I started with at Rowland Elementary School in the early 1960's.
I have gone back a few times and driven up my street Sierra Leone and I have nothing but happy memories.
I am looking forward to re-visiting the Rowland High School campus in September to celebrate the 50th Anniversary. Western Days was a big thing when I was there - it will be bitter sweet.
Hoping to see many of my friends from the years I attended.
